Alane Eisenbrandt has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with the great outdoors. Whether it was riding horses on her parents’ Illinois farm as a girl,
rafting the Arkansas River as a young woman, or hiking the mountain paths of Colorado, she has always loved being outside communing with nature.
Alane began cultivating various herbs in her backyard garden and soon began using them to create her first soaps in 2002.
After completing her herbalist training with Front Range Herbal Institute in Colorado she has expanded the use of herbs into other products. Frustrated with mass-produced "soap" that left her skin dry and irritated, Alane created her first two soaps--a peppermint cocoa and a cinnamon--made from all-natural organic ingredients and presented them to an open house, where the guests fell in love at first sight. Alane knew then that customers were looking for soap, lip balm, and other personal care products that are good for the body and good for the environment.
Alane says that she enjoys “taking something from nature and making something nourishing and beautiful, and then having it return, full circle, again to nature not harming the earth with toxins.” And that’s exactly what she does. No one has more passion for producing products that are good for your body, good for the earth, and good for your soul.
